Recently, the 2022 China Iron and Steel Association and China Metal Society Metallurgical Science and Technology Award judging results were announced. Three enterprises of CITIC Taifu Special Steel Group -- Xingcheng Special Steel, Daye Special steel, Qingdao Special Steel, a total of 7 achievements won the metallurgical science and technology award. It reflects the rising technological innovation ability of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group, and is also the concentrated embodiment of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group's great attention to innovation leadership and technology empowerment in recent years.

"Innovation and Application of Key Technologies of Materials for Core Components of Large Drilling and production Mechanism", "Development and Application of Key Technologies of High-strength and toughness precipitated Hardened Stainless Steel in the field of oil and Gas Exploitation", and "Development Key Technologies of Ultra-high strength Bridge Cable Wire Based on off-line Salt bath Quenching Process Design", led by Qingdao Special Steel.
